High prices affect the rich more, so this is an added tax without saying so. Indian fuel is reasonably cheap compared to other countries. The oil-producing nations have cheaper.

I think a fair price for petrol should be about 100 and diesel at 120 today. We should move to solar and renewables for energy generation, and buses and Metro for transport.
